• 1 teaspoon 4-spice blend of your choice
• 2 star anise
• 5cl dark rum
• 2 tablespoons brown sugar

Cut bananas lengthwise into 2. Melt the butter in a hot frying pan, then add the sugar and spices.
Brown the banana halves, caramelizing each side. Deglaze with rum and flame. Serve the warm bananas with their juice and a scoop of rum-raisin ice cream! A rum-free version, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, will delight the palates of even the youngest eaters!
